The story of DJJD and his influence upon techno and all it’s off spring of genres goes back to 1975 with a band from Germany named Kraftwerk. Their signature song “Trans Europe Express” which put electronic music on the map globally is what intrigued DJJD in which he was just 13 yrs. of age. After playing in countless rock bands and being born in N.Y. and later moving to northern Jersey,he couldn’t seek any musicians that shared his love of electronic music of any sort. And so,the story goes that he worked on Wall St. as a foreign exchange broker and still continued to play in bands locally in the Jersey,NYC and Pennsylvania regions amongst his night job. So, come 1999 when hitting martini lounge type chillout bars named Chez Es Saada,Downtime,Bond St. Bar & The Red Bar in Manhattan and hearing these electronic musicians/DJ’s named Moby, Crystal Method, Tiesto, Luke Slater, PVD, Massive Attack-to name a few. It stirred up his musical juices to start recording his own techno music without seeking other band members for the mere reason of knowing Apple computers and all the digital software out there like GarageBand and Pro Tools is all he needed to encounter his dream. So,here we are at modern day and DJJD has just finished writing, composing & recording over 1,200 songs ready for the world. Day job…..what day job, this is now it…..I’m not wasting anytime, I am going for it! Hope you can now help me reach my goal of dreams in this mind altering, uplifting and most positive music out there!
